Requests Ignored

Over the past year or more have requested two things. In spite of multiple updates, neither have been addressed.
First, the year USED to be at the top of each page. After an update MONTHS ago, the year was gone! If it used to be there, why remove it??? AND, how hard could it be to put it back?!?!
Also, the grey on the current day used to be a nice teal. If it was there once, why not now, or give the user a choice?
The calendar is one of the best, but the absence of the year takes multiple steps we never had to do. Very annoying.

UPDATE: Yet another update without the date displayed. Does this annoy anyone else?
